Tom Ryan, President

As founder of the company, Tom Ryan brings his vision and experience in the home construction and real estate industry to his role as President of Mountain Home Solutions. Prior to founding MHS, Tom served as the Vice President of Fireside Log Homes and as a consultant to the log and timber frame home industry. Tom is a published author, speaker, and trusted advisor to log and timber home providers and homeowners.  Tom’s background also includes senior level sales roles with Forrester Research, a leading technology research and consulting company, as well as business start-up and strategic consulting experience. Tom is a licensed North Carolina real estate broker.   

Brenda Rice, Director, Administration

With 20 years of successful business experience and her infectious personality, Brenda oversees Mountain Home Solutions’ human resources, bookkeeping, and general office management duties. Prior to joining MHS, Brenda co-founded Kilntek, Inc, a leading manufacturer and installer of pre-engineered kilns for the wood products industry and A & H Development, LLC, a residential real estate development company. 

Jamie Langford, Director, Construction Operations

As Director of Construction Operations, Jamie oversees the company's construction operations and brings a diverse background of both residential and commercial construction management experience to the team.  Prior to joining MHS, he founded and led two successful construction businesses; A&T Construction, a commercial firm focusing on multi-million dollar projects such as Lowes and Wal-Mart, and ATA construction, a residential building company building both single-family and multi-family projects.  Jamie is a licensed NC General Contractor and served honorably in the United States Navy and completed a successful tour in Operation Desert Storm.

Greg Catevenis, Director, Business Operations

In his role as Director of Business Operations, Greg oversees the business' operational processes, reporting, systems, and methodoligies in support of the company's performance objectives and continued growth plans.  Greg's background includes both residential and commercial construction operations and project management experience.  Prior to joining MHS, Greg served as the Operations Manager of RCM Properties, a real estate development company and Controller and Client Service Director of Food Express, a software company.  Greg is a graduate of Lee University and served honorably in the United States Army.
