If I were to buy an antique (furniture) in Vietnam or Cambodia, how do I get it home?
I want to be open to the possibility of buying a piece of furniture but I have no idea how I would get it back..

“rick “is right $90 cu meter to new york is what they will tell you and charge you at the place of purchase [ they should be able to arrange shipping for you or at least direct you to an area where you can find shippers].. anyway it will take about 2 months to get to the usa, then you will be notified and told to send an amount of money to the receivers in [ usually ] california.. they will release your product and have it sent overland to a destination warehouse of their choice, then you will have to go pay a customs fee , get a release slip go, to the warehouse pay another fee and then receive your product.. you can get a receiving company in the usa to do all that for a small fee and even get it trucked to your house.. it a pain , and its expensive, dbl, triple even 10 times what you’ve paid for your product.. and there is little way of knowing how much its going to cost till you get it ..
ive done it a few times and once bought a $45 cyclo that cost me near $400 and 4 days work before i got it [ in pieces] to my home.. 10 years later i still have it and at this point the cost means little.. not to discourage you..fees you pay are difficult to determine in advance because in addition to size weight and value , you are charged for other services that may or may not be provided, such as inspections by homeland security , if they inspect ,your charged ,if not , your not , disinfecting spraying, if neccessary is another fee, wearhouse fee for over stay is huge so when your notified go get it asap
